On June 28th 1969 NYPD infiltrated Stonewall Inn a regular meeting space for the houseless, prostitutes, radicalists & artists. Stonewall was a DIY place truly a point of community & home not just a place to drink. When the cops began the arrest of 13 people it wasn’t just anyone it was lovers,comrades, enemies, friends and family. This vile attempt of separation to a community so tight was the direct cause of street riots. Pride would be nowhere without violence & mutual aid.
